The Challenge: Client came to me with an established Silicon Valley domain that had strong Google authority — but her website had crashed and she had lost all her online visibility. Clients could no longer find her. She was also expanding into Portland, a brand new location with zero traffic history and no online presence.
Her existing brand name "Silicon Valley Marriage Counseling" was location-locked — it couldn't grow beyond one city and didn't reflect who Client truly was as a practitioner as a multi location business owner.
She needed someone to rebuild her digital presence from the ground up, launch a new location, and create a brand that could scale across both markets.
The Strategy
1. Personal Brand Rebrand I rebranded her entirely under her own name — Azizeh Rezaiyan Couples Therapy. This gave her:
A portable, scalable brand not tied to any one location
A professional identity that could grow with her practice
Credibility and recognition across both markets

2. Unified Website with Location Pages Instead of maintaining two separate websites, I built one unified website with two dedicated location pages:
/portland — optimized for Oregon clients
/silicon-valley — optimized for Bay Area clients
Each location page had its own character, local testimonials, local licensing information, and local content — feeling personal and local while living under one strong domain.
3. Domain Authority Transfer The old Silicon Valley domain carried years of Google authority. Rather than abandoning it, I used 301 redirects to transfer that authority to the new unified domain. This meant:
Portland immediately benefited from the Silicon Valley domain's established trust
No SEO value was lost in the rebrand
The new brand launched with inherited authority rather than starting from zero
4. Geo-Targeting Strategy I implemented geo-targeting so that:
Visitors from the Silicon Valley area → landed on the Silicon Valley page
Visitors from Oregon → landed on the Portland page
Visitors from outside both regions → landed on the main page to choose their location
The Result: I started working with Client in June 2025. By August 2025 she was receiving clients again — rebuilt entirely from zero through SEO, optimization, and a strategic domain approach that gave Portland instant authority by inheriting the Silicon Valley domain's established trust.
